Foodie Penpal Reveal Day (July)

It is finally the day! I have had my parcel for over a week and have really been trying to restrain myself from eating everything.

This month I was paired with my long lost sister Karolina. We seem to be very similar in our exercise and food and she sent me the best package!!  All I told her was that I wasn’t good with gluten free. She looked at my blog and went healthy, which I was really pleased with.

Foodie Pen Pal July RevealSo my package arrived and I tried to be restrained and not eat it all at once. First item I tried, I was stressed out and wanted to keep from eating a bunch of junk.

So I was good and had a big glass of water and the Proper corn sour cream and chive popcorn. No nasties and it was delish! Heck being American, I love popcorn, just about any flavor, and this stuff was really tasty.

Second item on the list to try :

The Happy Kitchen Pecan Nut brownie. Gluten free, sweetened with fruit, and good golly was it awesome! I had never seen but I will be shopping around for these bad boys, and definitely right up my alley!

Next item was Karolina’s homemade superfood truffles!! Organic, chocolate, chia seeds, cocoa nibs, agave, stevial, dates! Need I say more? I had one, and then mysteriously they disappeared and my husband was no where to be found! Karolina, I loved them, they were gorgeous!! My hubby is not keen on “healthy” food and he ran off with the rest so they had to be good!

I haven’t had the probiotic chocolate yet, but am looking forward to it and love anything that has probiotic to it AND coconut!!

And last but certainly not least, raspberry and black pepper dressing which I am looking forward to trying, and a new variety of bounce ball. I have tried the others and love them, especially after a race, but I am really looking forward to this one, I mean, come on, coconut and macadamia nut? What’s not to like about that?

Bounce barAll I can say is a huge thank you for a really thoughtful parcel from Karolina! I loved it, and am still loving it! You rock!!

I love Foodie Penpals, this is really a fun experience. First of all, a huge thank you to Carol Anne for arranging this every month! Check out her blog, she’s also an amazingly creative baker! You have to see the Death Star cake.

So, the whole point is to connect foodies, with blogs, without blogs, it doesn’t matter. Check out this link if you would like to take part.

That’s it for me, now off to try that chocolate!
